What are concepts?

Modified on Fri, 15 May at 5:41 PM

Concepts are the creative directions a brand wants you to bring to life in a brief. When you apply to and work on a brief, your assignment is organized around one or more concepts — each one is a distinct creative angle. For example, a single product launch brief might include a “morning routine” concept and a “gym bag” concept, each calling for different content.

Each concept has its own set of deliverables — the specific pieces of content you’ll create for that creative direction. The brief overview lists all concepts in the brief so you know what the full creative scope is.

If a brief includes multiple concepts, the brand may assign you to one, some, or all of them. You can see your specific concept assignment in two places:

  • In your application details, under the Product & Concept selection section
  • In the header when you’re uploading content for that concept

Always check there before you start creating so you know exactly what to produce.
