Cohley connects directly to TikTok Ads Manager, so you can send approved content from your Content Library straight into your TikTok ad account — no downloading and re-uploading, and no handing files around your paid team. Once your assets are in Ads Manager, your team builds campaigns as usual.
First: connect your TikTok ad account (one time)
- Go to Company Settings → Integrations.
- Find TikTok and click Connect.
- You’ll be sent to TikTok to authorize Cohley’s access to your TikTok Business Center / Ad Account. Sign in and approve.
- Once connected, your linked ad account appears under Integrations. You can disconnect it there at any time, and you’ll be prompted to reconnect if the authorization expires.
You only have to do this once. If your paid media lives in a separate TikTok Business Center, connect the account that owns the ad account you’ll be launching from.
Then: send content from your Content Library
- Open Content Library from the main navigation.
- Use search, filters, or sort to find the approved assets you want (by brief, creator, or product).
- Select the asset(s) you want to send.
- Choose TikTok as the destination and confirm.
- Your content is pushed to your connected TikTok Ads Manager, where it’s ready for your team to build into campaigns.
How is this different from TikTok Spark Ads?
They’re two different things — it’s worth knowing which one you want:
- Sending Content Library assets (this article) pushes your own approved content into Ads Manager as creative. You’re supplying the video or image your team will run as an ad.
- Spark Ads boosts a creator’s actual organic TikTok post using a spark ad code. Today, Cohley collects and exports those codes and your team still enters them in Ads Manager manually — see TikTok Spark Ads on Cohley. (Automatic push of spark codes into Ads Manager is on our roadmap.)
Who can do this?
Any user on your Cohley account can send Content Library assets once the TikTok ad account is connected. The connection is at the company level, so a teammate doesn’t need to reconnect if someone else already authorized it.
Troubleshooting
- I don’t see the TikTok option / it asks me to connect. The ad account isn’t connected yet, or the authorization expired. Go to Company Settings → Integrations and connect (or reconnect) TikTok.
- My asset didn’t show up in Ads Manager. Give it a minute to sync, then refresh Ads Manager. If it’s still missing, confirm you’re looking at the same ad account you connected to Cohley.
- I connected the wrong account. Disconnect it under Company Settings → Integrations and reconnect with the correct TikTok Business Center / Ad Account.
