By default, every asset a Creator uploads to your brief is automatically included in your Content Collaboration share — so your team can review everything in one place. If you want more control — for example, only sharing the polished final edits with a stakeholder, or excluding rough drafts from a legal review — you can toggle on Share specific assets and handpick what gets included.
When to use this
Use Share specific assets when you want collaborators to see only a curated subset of what Creators have uploaded. Common scenarios:
- You’re sharing with a stakeholder who only needs to see Final Edits, not Raw versions
- You’re sharing with legal or compliance and want to scope what they review
- A Creator uploaded an early draft that you’d rather not have your team see yet
If you want everyone on the team to see everything Creators upload, leave the toggle off — Content Collaboration’s default behavior already automatically adds every uploaded asset to the share.
How to turn on the toggle and pick assets
- From the brief, click Collaborate
- Click Share assets
- Toggle on “Share specific assets”
- For each Creator, select the assets you want to share — you can do this from the grid view or by opening any asset full-screen and selecting from there
- Click Add to Collaboration
The selected assets are now visible to collaborators on your share link. Assets you didn’t select remain in Cohley but won’t appear in the shared view.
Adding more assets later
You can return to Collaborate → Share assets at any time to:
- Select additional assets to add to the existing share
- Adjust which assets each Creator’s section includes
- Switch the toggle off to revert to sharing every asset Creators upload
The share link doesn’t change — collaborators just see more (or different) assets the next time they refresh.
A few things to know
- Assets in the shared view are sorted newest to oldest so collaborators always see the latest first
- The share URL stays live until all Creators on the brief are in the Completed stage (same as the rest of Content Collaboration)
- Collaborators can leave feedback and see each others’ comments on the assets you’ve shared, just like in the default everything-shared mode
