To remove an accepted Creator from a brief, click Change Status on the Creator’s card and select “Applicants.” This moves them out of Accepted and back into your applicant pool.
Before you remove anyone
Send the Creator a chat message explaining why. Creators removed without an explanation are often confused and reach out to your brand on social media or other channels instead.
The Creator also receives an automated message letting them know they have been removed from the campaign, worded generally — “commonly due to product issues or lack of communication.”
You will also have the opportunity to rate the Creator at this time. Creators do not see individual brand ratings.
If you want to reject them, not just remove them
You cannot move a Creator straight from Accepted to Rejected. It is two steps:
- Click Change Status on the Creator’s card and select “Applicants” to move them out of Accepted.
- From your applicant pool, click Reject on the Creator’s card.
If you only need them out of the active campaign, step 1 is enough on its own.
Changed your mind?
A rejection can be reversed — you can view rejected applicants and add the Creator back to the brief. Rejecting is also separate from blocking, and rejecting a Creator does not block them from your future briefs. See Rejecting & Blocking Creators for both.
