Yes. You can duplicate a draft, a live, or a past brief. Whether your brief has launched — or whether its apply-by date has passed — does not affect your ability to duplicate it. Duplicating creates a new draft named “Copy of [your brief name]”. Your original brief is untouched. You edit the copy and launch it like any other brief.
Where to find it
Go to Briefs. Every brief card carries a Duplicate button, next to Download PDF and View brief. It’s there on all three tabs — Active Briefs, Past Briefs, and Drafts.
You can also ask Finn to duplicate a brief — for example, “duplicate my August UGC brief.” Finn creates the same “Copy of …” draft the button does, and it lands in Drafts the same way. If you have several briefs with similar names, name the one you want precisely with @ mention when typing.
Everything below applies to both routes — dates never carry over, and briefs built in an older format can’t be duplicated either way. Shopify product selection also doesn't copy over as your catalog is refreshed each time you create a brief.
You can also ask Finn to create that brief in as a different brief type!
When to duplicate
- Running the same brief again — a monthly content refresh, a seasonal repeat, or a new wave of an always-on campaign
- Recurring or series work with the same creator — see Can I run a recurring brief with the same creator?
- Relaunching with a different product set — products lock once creators apply, so the supported path is to duplicate and launch fresh. See Can I edit a live brief?

Before you launch the copy
Set your dates. Deadlines are not carried over from the original, so a duplicated brief needs fresh dates before it goes live. Check your product list, compensation, non-negotiable tweaks based on what was flagged last round, and targeting — then launch.
If Duplicate isn’t available
The Duplicate button appears on every brief card, but is disabled on briefs built in an older brief format. This is about the brief’s field structure, not its status.
What to do:
- Duplicate your most recent brief of that type instead — newer briefs use the current format
