How the Seeding brief matches creators, what your content requirements do, and how billing works. New to Seeding? Start with What is a Seeding brief?
How does creator matching work?
Finn matches creators to your brief using Cohley’s Smart Search signals. You describe who you’re looking for in plain language and set a creator count; Finn finds and accepts the best matches the day after your apply-by date. There’s no Applicants tab and no manual vetting. You can also invite specific creators via Creator Hub if there are people you already want in the brief.
What creator information does Cohley use?
Matching draws on the full set of Smart Search sources: creator chats, surveys, applications, profile, insight questions, portfolio, and past Cohley work.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is $35 per completed creator—a creator who links at least one post. You’re billed on completions only, so accepted creators who never post aren’t charged. Billing is in arrears: at the beginning of each month you’re invoiced for the number of creators who posted the prior month.
What happens if fewer creators qualify than requested?
You receive the creators who qualified, and Finn keeps matching toward your requested count. If you’re short, extend the apply-by date to give matching more time. Because you’re billed per completed creator, you don’t pay for slots that were never filled.
What are AI Asset Analysis requirements?
Your non-negotiables (1–5) are the requirements every submission is checked against by AI Asset Analysis. Keep them clear, objective, and visually verifiable so the automated check can confirm them. (See Non-negotiables & AI Asset Analysis.)
What are good and bad requirement examples?
Good—objective and visually verifiable:
- Product shown in the first 3 seconds
- Brand name said out loud
- Product packaging visible and legible
- Filmed in natural daylight
Avoid—subjective and hard to verify:
- “Make it feel premium”
- “High-energy vibe”
- “Authentic feel”
- “Good lighting”
How do creators know what changes are needed?
Seeding briefs don’t use change requests. Every submission must pass all of your non-negotiables. If content fails AI Asset Analysis, the creator receives an email listing the flagged non-negotiables with instructions to re-upload. If it passes, the creator automatically receives a message to post during the post window. Because there’s no manual approval or change-request step, clear non-negotiables up front are what guide creators.
Are social metrics for seeding available?
Yes, TikTok and Instagram posts in a Seeding brief work exactly as they do in an Influencer brief. The only difference is that ad codes are not requested for boosting. All Instagram and TikTok post metrics flow into Social Performance as organic.
