If you choose the "Creator will purchase the product(s) directly" option instead of shipping product, you'll want to consider your options for reimbursing the Creator for purchasing the product(s).
Option 1: Ask Creators to submit a photo of their receipt in the Cohley chat and then you can add the exact reimbursement amount on top of their final payment.
- Once you see their receipt, you can click the "edit" icon next to an individual Creators expected compensation and adjust the overall comp to be the original compensation + the reimbursement.
Option 2: Increase the overall compensation to account for reimbursement and clearly write in the brief that reimbursement is already factored into their final payment.
- You can write this anywhere in the brief as long as it's clearly stated. We also recommend adding it as a question on the "Targeting" page (4th page) of the brief builder.
Ex: This brief requires accepted Creators to purchase product from X store. Reimbursement is already included in your overall compensation. If accepted, are you willing and able to go to X store to purchase?
