How Do I Add a User to My Account?

User management is available under Team Settings.

Adding a user

  1. Click the drop-down arrow in the top right of Cohley, next to your company name, and select Manage Users.
  2. Open Team Settings in the left nav.
  3. Click Invite Team Member, then enter their first name, last name and email address.
  4. Choose All Companies, or choose Individual Companies and add the ones they need. Click Invite.

They receive an invitation email. Until they set a password their status shows as Pending; once they do, it changes to Active.

What access does a new user get?

Everyone on your account has the same access. Cohley doesn’t have admin, editor or viewer levels, so there’s no way to give one teammate narrower access than another — anyone you add can see and do everything on the companies they’re added to.

All Companies or Individual Companies?

All Companies gives the person access to every company you have access to — including any company added later. Pick this if you want access to keep itself up to date: when a new brand is added to Cohley, everyone on All Companies can see it straight away, with nothing for you to do.

Individual Companies lets you pick named companies from the list. Access then stays exactly as you set it, so every time a new brand is added you have to go back and add it to each person who needs it.

You can switch between the two at any time — open the three-dot menu on the person’s row in Team Settings and choose Edit Companies.

Which companies can I give someone?

Only the companies you have access to yourself. If a teammate also belongs to a company you don’t have access to, that company is shown read-only with a greyed-out minus — you cannot add or remove them from it. Every member must keep at least one company.

I invited the wrong person, or mistyped the email

Remove the Pending member and invite them again. That is the supported fix; an invitation that has already been sent cannot be edited.
