Emails you'll receive from Cohley

Cohley sends a handful of automated emails to your team so you don’t have to live inside the platform to stay on top of a brief. Here’s what you’ll receive, what triggers each one, and which ones you can manage in your settings. (Looking for what your Creators receive? See Creator Email Communication from Cohley.)

Account

• Welcome to Cohley — sent when you’re added as a user on a company account.

Recurring Emails

These two are controlled by each user in User Settings, so you only get what’s useful to you:

• Weekly Brand Pulse — a once-a-week summary of your briefs and the next best action on each, so you know where attention is needed. The subject line includes the company name. By default you receive it for all companies you have access to; you can narrow that to specific companies (or turn it off) in User Settings. For Seeding briefs it highlights wins — time to ship product, content that passed AI Asset Analysis, or post performance coming in — and a brief only appears when one of those applies.
• Creator messages — get emailed when a creator messages you in a brief. This is off by default; turn it on in your settings and choose how often you’re notified: Immediate, Daily, or Weekly.

Collaboration Suite

All emails listed here are subscribed to upon joining the Collaboration suite:

• “[Company name] collaborators have provided feedback!” — sent when your collaborators leave votes or comments on a Content Collaboration session. It’s batched, so you’ll get one summary email rather than one per comment. The subject line includes your company name, so if you work across multiple companies you know which account to log into.
• “New content available for [company name] in Cohley” — sent to collaborators when new images, videos, or reviews are added to a shared Content Library.
• “You have joined Cohley’s Collaboration Suite” — sent to a collaborator the first time you add them to a creator or content session.

Content Library

• Cohley Content Download — sent when you export or download assets from your Content Library.

Seeding Brief Kickoff (Coming soon)

• “[#] creators just joined your [brief name] brief” — sent for Seeding briefs the day after your apply-by date, once Finn has accepted your creators. It confirms matching is done (no application review needed) and points you to your next step: shipping product from the Accepted tab. You won’t get this email if no creators were accepted.

Emails sent to your Creators

Most brief emails — acceptance, change requests, content-due reminders, post requests, payment, and “that’s a wrap” — go to your Creators, triggered by actions you take in the brief. So you don’t have to wonder whether a creator was notified, Cohley also posts an automated message in the brief chat whenever one of these emails goes out.
