Messaging creators: individual and mass messages

Cohley gives you open communication with creators in a brief. These chats are different from the automated emails or invitations to apply sent from Creator Hub (see Creator Email Communication from Cohley).

Message an individual creator 

1. Open your brief and go to the tab with the Creator you want to message (or click the notification to navigate directly)
2. Type your message in the chat box. To use a saved template, click the arrow on the Send split button, pick a template to insert and customize.
3. Send.

Your message appears in that creator’s chat and triggers their in-app new-message notification and their “Check your messages” email.

Send a message to selected creators (mass message)

You do not have to message everyone — you choose who receives the message.

1. Go to the desired tab of your brief.
2. (Optional) Filter creators or Search to narrow the list.
3. Select the specific creators you want to message — tick each one, or use Select all to include everyone in the current filtered view.
4. Click Send mass message.
5. Compose your message and send.

Each selected creator receives the message in their own chat thread, along with the new-message notification and email. Creators only see their own thread — they cannot see that the message went to anyone else.

Note that Cohley does not support custom messages to Creators outside of a brief.
