Your company profile: what Creators see about your brand

Modified on Fri, 31 Jul at 3:37 PM

Every Cohley brief is attached to your company profile, and every field in it is shown to Creators at the top of the brief. There is no private half: if it is in your profile, a Creator browsing your brief can see it.

That is why you do not need to re-introduce your brand inside each brief. Fill the profile in once and it travels with every brief you launch, including briefs that are already live.

What your company profile holds

  • Your logo — appears as your avatar at the top of the brief. If it is empty, Creators see a grey placeholder.
  • Company name — shown next to the brief type.
  • Describe your company in a few sentences — appears as the “About [your brand]” section. This is your brand intro. Up to 2,000 characters.
  • Website url — becomes a Visit website button.
  • Instagram handle — becomes a link to your Instagram page, next to the website button.

Where to edit it

Go to Company Settings → Company Details. All five fields are on that page:

  1. Click the camera icon on your logo to upload or replace it.
  2. Fill in Company name, Website url, Instagram handle, and Describe your company in a few sentences.
  3. Save.

What to put in your company description

This is the “About” block a Creator reads before deciding whether to apply. Keep it short and useful:

  • What your brand makes and who it is for
  • The one or two things you are known for
  • Your tone in a few words — playful, clinical, premium, outdoorsy

Skip your full brand-guidelines document. Campaign-specific direction — this launch, this scent, this audience — does not belong here either; that goes in the brief.

A dash or a placeholder is worse than nothing. Whatever you type renders literally in the About section on every brief you run, so “-” or “n/a” is what Creators will read about your brand.

Where campaign-specific brand context goes instead

If you have product- or campaign-specific messaging — a scent story, a product USP, a tagline, a “do not say this” list — it belongs in the brief, not the company profile:

Multiple products in one brief? Add a concept per product or per creative angle, and put that product’s callouts in that concept. You choose whether Creators complete every concept or pick one when they apply.

Keeping it current

Your profile shows on every brief you launch, including live ones. If you rebrand, reposition, or launch a new flagship product, update the profile once rather than editing briefs.
